Recorded life

I say this every month but oh my god this month went by SO quickly! I had to work on my exam project so I didn’t actually get any reading done for the last two weeks of May, but I somehow got through four books. Though to be fair I started two of them in April, and most of them were fairly short.

I may have gotten a little too carried away with the book buying in May, but to be fair some of them were ordered online back in April.

I finally handed in my exam project a couple days ago, and after having been cut off from everything for the past two weeks, I’m back! I finished reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky last month, and IT. WAS. AMAZING. As I wrote in my post about my new books last month, I cried a lot while watching the movie, but that was nothing compared to the book.
 

April was busybusybusy! I had to finish my internship and then I had an exam to pass (which went really well!), so I “only” got through three books this month.

I bought some books, so I thought I’d talk about them today!

First up is my newest addition, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I watched the movie for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I basically cried my eyes out, so I thought I would read the book (and cry some more…).

I finished reading The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry the other day and OMG I loved it! I loved it so much I just had to give it a post all to itself. The book tells the life story of A.J. Fikry (didn’t see that one coming did ya?), starting when he is at the end of his thirties, about 1,5 years after his wife has passed away in a car accident.

March was a veeeeeery busy month for me reading wise – I managed to read six books!! (Two of them only took a couple of hours to read, but still!). I have gotten a bit addicted to buying books, and it’s getting a bit out of hand… So, I thought I’d share some of my new additions with you!

I love reading, and this year I am doing the Goodreads 2015 reading challenge. My goal is to read 30 books during the year, which is not a lot compared to a lot of other people, but I wanted to set a goal that I actually have a chance of reaching :-D Since I am doing the challenge, I thought I would do a monthly update on what I have been reading.
