The Killers is probably one of my all time favorite bands,
which is partly due to Brandon Flower’s amazing voice. So, even though The
Killers like to go on hiatus once in a while, it’s a comfort that Brandon will
most likely do a solo project. Last time we got Flamingo, which was absolutely
amazing, and this time The Desired Effect was released.
I say this every month but oh my god this month went by SO quickly! I had to work on my exam project so I didn’t actually get any reading done for the last two weeks of May, but I somehow got through four books. Though to be fair I started two of them in April, and most of them were fairly short.
In
books,
New in books #3
I may have gotten a little too carried away with the book
buying in May, but to be fair some of them were ordered online back in April.
In
music,
Wilder Mind
I had planned to write a bunch of posts about some new album
releases before I started doing my exam project, but I just didn’t have time,
so I’m writing all of them over the next couple weeks. To start off I thought
I’d write a quick post about Mumford & Sons’ new album Wilder Mind, which
was released a month ago.
I finally handed in my exam project a couple days ago, and
after having been cut off from everything for the past two weeks, I’m back! I
finished reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky last month,
and IT. WAS. AMAZING. As I wrote in my post about my new books last month, I
cried a lot while watching the movie, but that was nothing compared to the
book.
